Welcome to WhaleAcoustics, a small business conducting
research work under contract for various federal agencies. Our focus is on the study of man-made noise impacts on whales and the use of passive acoustics to develop census methods for whales. At this website you can find descriptions of WhaleAcoustic's projects and an explanation of the methods used to complete these.
Frequent collaborators include John Hildebrand at Scripps Institution of Oceanography (website), John Calambokidis at Cascadia Research (website) and Sonalysts (website).
